Padstow is a beautiful and historic harbour town, which still supports local fishing and has all the river and sea sports available that you could hope for, within easy access.
The restaurants and pubs in the town have something for everyone, including Paul Ainsworth's No 6, which has recently been voted 2nd best in the UK and 8th best in the world!

The Camel Trail is fantastic for an easy day's cycling. Cycle hire is available from the Quay area.
The nearest beaches are within a 10 minute walk, and Rock can be visited via a regular ferry service.

There are several boat and fishing trips from the Harbour. You can also visit the Lobster Hatchery and learn all about these fascinating creatures.

Excellent golf courses are within easy reach by car, including Trevose Links Course, as are all the beautiful bays in the St Merryn area.

There are seven gorgeous, sandy beaches around Trevose Head, which is a short drive from Padstow. They are mostly fantastic surfing beaches, and all but one (Mother Iveys Bay) have lifeguards in the summer season. Surfboard hire is available in Constantine and St Merryn.

However, lots of our guests find that they can arrive and then not use their car for the rest of their stay! The local bus options are really good and the walks outside of the town spectacular.
